The Psychiatry Department provides specialized evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders. Core Functions Clinical Psychiatry: Management of psychiatric illnesses such as depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, OCD, and personality disorders. Addiction Psychiatry: Treatment of substance use disorders including alcohol, tobacco, opioids, and behavioral addictions. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry: Early identification and treatment of developmental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in children and teenagers. Geriatric Psychiatry: Management of dementia, depression, and age-related psychiatric concerns in older adults. Emergency Psychiatry: Crisis intervention and acute management of suicidal ideation, psychosis, aggression, and trauma-related psychiatric conditions.
