The Pediatrics Department is a dedicated clinical unit focused on the comprehensive healthcare needs of infants, children, and adolescents—from birth to 18 years of age. This department is committed to delivering high-quality, family-centered care through preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services, tailored to the unique physiological and developmental needs of the pediatric population. Core Functions Preventive Care: Immunization programs, growth monitoring, and anticipatory guidance for parents and caregivers. Acute & Chronic Illness Management: Treatment of common pediatric conditions such as respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, fevers, and chronic diseases like asthma, epilepsy, and juvenile diabetes. Neonatal Care: Specialized care for newborns, including preterm and low-birth-weight babies, through collaboration with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics: Early identification and intervention for developmental delays, behavioral issues, and learning disabilities. Pediatric Emergency Services: 24/7 response capability for pediatric trauma, acute illness, and critical care situations.
