The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department is a specialized unit dedicated to comprehensive women's healthcare, encompassing reproductive health, pregnancy management, childbirth, and disorders of the female reproductive system. This department plays a critical role in promoting maternal and neonatal health outcomes while ensuring high standards of gynecological care across all life stages. Core Functions Obstetrics: Full-spectrum care during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, including high-risk obstetrics and fetal medicine. Gynecology: Diagnosis and treatment of reproductive system disorders including menstrual irregularities, fibroids, endometriosis, and pelvic floor disorders. Surgical Services: Minimally invasive procedures, laparoscopic surgeries, and conventional open surgeries related to female reproductive health. Family Planning & Contraception: Counseling and services covering birth control methods, fertility regulation, and adolescent reproductive education. Preventive Women’s Health: Routine screenings such as Pap smears, HPV testing, breast examinations, and menopause management.
