Overview

Kageshwori Manohara Hospital is a multi-specialty government healthcare organization dedicated to providing quality medical services to the community. Our Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, offering immediate care to patients facing critical and life-threatening conditions. The department is staffed by a team of highly trained doctors, nurses, and paramedics, ensuring prompt and professional emergency care based on standard medical protocols. The emergency area is divided into four zones, identified by red, yellow, and green color codes, to triage and manage patients according to the urgency of their condition. The department includes 10 emergency beds and is equipped with modern diagnostic tools and medical equipment to support accurate and timely treatment. We provide a wide range of emergency services, including geriatric, medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurosurgical, gynecological, pediatric, ENT, ophthalmology, and radiology emergencies. Each case is assessed carefully to determine whether the patient is in a life-threatening condition, and appropriate decisions are made regarding referral or in-hospital treatment. Medical officers are available 24/7, while MDGP doctors are present from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call MDGP support available at all times. Through our round-the-clock emergency services, we aim to deliver timely, compassionate, and effective care, ensuring the safety and well-being of every patient who seeks urgent medical attention at our hospital. Along with regular emergency care, we are also committed to providing free services to the most vulnerable populations. This includes patients from highly poor and marginalized groups, persons with disabilities, and solo(unrepresented) patients. We also offer free emergency care and follow-up support for senior citizens (jestha nagarik) identified through the Mayor’s Senior Citizen Health Camps. Through these efforts, Kageshwori Manohara Hospital continues to ensure inclusive, accessible, and compassionate emergency healthcare for all.
