He earned his MS in General Surgery from Nepalese Army Institute of Health Science. Dr.Shrestha possesses a diverse range of surgical and technical skills doing multiple surgeries as a primary surgeon Appendectomy, Lap/open cholecystectomy, Hernia, Hydrocele, Phimosis, Mastectomy and bowel anastomosis surgery. He has served as a primary assistant in various oncological surgeries: APR, Anterior Resection, Total partial Gastrectomy. Primary surgeon for different urological procedures: Cystoscopy, DJ stenting, DJ removal, open Cystolithotomy, and URSL. Involved in Renal(Live + Deceased Donor) and Liver(live+ Deceased Donor) transplantation team in SDNTC.
