Dr. Deepika Rijal is a General and Laparoscopic Surgeon currently working in Bir Hospital, Kathmandu. She completed her MBBS from Kathmandu University and earned her postgraduate degree in General Surgery from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Medicine. Dr. Rijal has served as a Medical Officer in various health institutions across and beyond the Kathmandu Valley, gaining broad clinical experience in emergency departments, pediatric wards, NICUs, and medical outpatient departments under the Nepal Government, Ministry of Health and Population. She has also been actively involved in the implementation of several national health programs and policies. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Rijal is actively engaged in health research and is committed to contributing to evidence-based improvements in healthcare delivery in Nepal.
